Been waiting too long for him to fix something?

Sometimes it's because they are too busy, or too tired after work or just plain lazy.  Whatever the case, I found this trick to work wonders.

Let me explain, how I got to discover it.  A few years back, when my then boyfriend was moving in with me, he had keenly built up a DIY wardrobe, so that there would be space in my bedroom for his stuff (which funnily enough was more than mine, but anyways). I found it really sweet, at the time, that he built it all up by himself in one afternoon.  Only until, just the following week, I went to get him a jacket and the knob came off the wardrobe door.

He had built the thing up with such haste that he didn't make sure everything was working fine and done properly, he just wanted it done.  Well, everyone can make mistakes and I still did appreciate the fact that he had shown keeness to move in with me.

However, as the months rolled by, and I was still opening the wardrobe door by pulling a screw that was sticking out instead of the knob, my frustration started building up.

I was sick of joking about it and asking him to do it over and over again. He always had a reason for not doing it.  The whole situation was getting on my nerves to the point that I wasn't feeling relaxed enough to ...erm...you know what I mean.

Well, what did I do? He was complaining that it had been a while and I explained that there were little things - such as the knob on the wardrobe - that were building up on my stress and when I'm stressed I can't relax enough to...erm...you know.

Sure enough, the knob was fixed in the next few days and sure enough, I felt listened to, was more relaxed and...erm...you know :)

Of course, it's the oldest trick in the world, but hey - it works!
